Once again the golfers of Strabane turned out in their numbers for the annual Brian Patton Memorial Day, an event that continues to go from strength to strength with players always keen to show their respect and admiration for one of Strabane Golf Club’s greatest ever players, and one who was always on hand to help others with their game at times when they may have struggled.  In addition to the good home support on Sunday there was also a fantastic entry from Faughan Valley G.C. with no fewer than 51 players from there registering as visitors, many thanks also to the 16 visiting players from Silverwood Golf Club Co.Armagh who also made the journey.
