Eamon mcGlinchey (19) a relative newcomer to the game was the big winner at Strabane over the weekend taking the monthly Medal event Sponsored by Local Restaurateur Kevin Clarke from Oysters Restaurant.  Eamon had a full three shots to spare over his nearest challenger returning an excellent 61 nett in blustery but extremely warm conditions, Adrian McDermott (21) was the runner up, out in the mornings first fourbal,l Adrian showed an excellent return to form in posting a challenging total of 64 nett, Matt Keyes (18) took third place with 65 nett with Damian McGranaghan (6) the only low handicapper to feature in the winners enclosure on the day with 66 nett, Michael O’Neill (20) has been having a great golfing season but will regret an untidy nine at the 9th hole which cost him his chance on the day but he held on for 5th place with 66 nett also.
