Fred Daly
There was some very big disappointments in the inter club front this week especially for our Fred Daly team who lost out at home to a very talented Kirkistown Castle team, trailing 4-3 from the away leg hopes were very high for the boys but on the day it never really happened and they were beaten resoundly by 5 matches to two.

Our Barton Shield’s team also lost out in pre-Qualifying to near neighbours Ballybofey going out by one hole.

Disappointment also for our Pearce Purcell team who lost to Letterkenny by 3.5 matches to 1.5 at Omagh and also commiserations to our J.B Carr squad who went out of that competition to Scrabo golf club.
